In this episode, Maren Miller, a Diversity Equity Inclusion Specialist, shares her journey from teacher to activist and healer of conscious and unconscious inequality in today's society. She is a facilitator of change, who has done deep healing work around her own white privilege, and shares her wisdom and knowledge with us to help us to dismantle the systemic racism and anti-blackness in our country. If you're looking for resources on how you can help the Black Lives Matter Movement, you'll want to hear what Maren has to say.

Maren Miller (she/her) is on a mission to empower conscious, reflective, change makers like you.  Towards greater self awareness, self trust, inner knowing and healing.  For the betterment of self, but also for the greater good of all. She is a former art teacher, turned Reiki practitioner, energy reader & healer, artist, consultant, coach and facilitator. She is passionate, driven and committed to the work of racial and educational equity, as well as critical self development and healing. She desires to work with humans who have the will to look inward and view the world through a critical and restorative racial lens.  She brings with her, 10 years of teaching experience (BA in Studio Art and MA in Education) and (as a white womxn) desires to be a message of awareness, growth and transparency in order to help uncover and name the oppressive systems at work in our lives.  And is in the business of helping and developing white folks racial and self development.  She looks forward to continuing to build her capacity and interest in continuing to influence at different levels of systems, knowing how interpersonal and internal the work truly is. As it is personal before it is professional. marenjmiller.com
